Orexis Claims: Enhancing the Orgasm

Premature orgasm is often cited as an undesirable phenomenon in sexual performance, and is treated alongside erectile dysfunction medically. We are meant to assume that this symptom is affected by the intake of Orexis, although this is not specifically addressed by the claims that Orexis improves "orgasm control."

Affiliated sites and testimonials claim that Orexis affects the occurrence of orgasm by changing the emotional state of the consumer during sex. In fact, several of the herbal ingredients have been shown to do just that, but the heightened state of arousal caused by these ingredients is extremely unlikely to reduce to frequency of premature orgasm. In fact, several herbs in Orexis do just the opposite.

As a male sexual enhancer, Orexis is supposed to affect performance in several ways, by increasing the size of the penis, promoting a more enjoyable emotional state during sex, and by somehow also affecting the emotional state of the partner as a result of these effects. In all likelihood, the occurrence of any customer satisfaction along these lines is achieved purely through placebo.

Some testimonials suggest that even if this is the case, that the product is still desirable. Of course, that determination is at the discretion of customer demand, and a placebo effect can hardly be claimed as a virtue of Orexis alone. As the orgasm is difficult to measure, Urban Nutrition, the manufacturer of Orexis, assumes that the customer will not attempt to measure their orgasm in a clinically arguable instance.

Orexis also claims to "wow" a sexual partner by demonstrating control over orgasm, although this control is usually achieved by numbing creams and psychological effects, neither of which are provided by the ingredients of Orexis.

Multiple Orgasms

On the other hand, many seek to increase the number of orgasms achieved during sex, and there is some clinical evidence to support the use of Orexis in this regard. One effect is naturally exclusive of the other, and the desired result should be determined before trying the produce itself. This effect depends largely on the energy level and sexual characteristics of the individual, as the number of orgasms achieved is rarely influenced by diet.

A Better Orgasm?

The only remaining possibility for Orexis is the possible improvement of the subjective orgasm experience. If the herbal ingredients do in fact create a "heightened state of mind" as claimed by Orexis, then it is possible that the quality of the orgasm experience will improve, and this may be noticed by a partner.
